Not the top 10.
The right 10.

Every recommendation is grounded in real updates from real Balinese locals. The warung with the new chef. The cliff walk that's actually open today. The driver who isn't a scam. We tell you what's true this week, not what was good in 2019.

What our AI knows today, because a local told it.

How it works

Four steps from "where do we start"
to a trip that just works.

1

Tell us your trip

Who's going, what you love, what your budget looks like. Natural language. No forms.

2

AI plans it

Day-by-day itinerary built from real local data — what's worth your money this week.

3

Book in one place

Flights, stays, experiences, transport, guides — all settled in one checkout.

4

A local on your side

During your trip, ask anything. The AI answers. When it can't, a real local does.

The people behind the AI

Meet the locals
keeping us honest.

Our Local Knowledge Layer isn't scraped from the internet. It's written by real Balinese locals who update it every day — what's new, what's closed, what's changed, what to avoid. They're not tour guides you book through us. They're the reason our AI isn't guessing.

Illustrative pre-launch locals — we're recruiting the real ones now. If you live in Bali, scroll down.

During your trip

It's 4pm in Ubud. Ask anything.

The best moments aren't in the itinerary. They're the ones you decide in the moment — a free afternoon, a sudden rain, a cancelled plan. This is where LOCROAM stops being useful and starts being magical.

The AI doesn't guess. It answers from what a local said about Ubud this morning. When the AI can't help, a real local can — one tap away.

it's raining and we're tired from rafting. 4 hours to kill. what's good?

Three options for a tired, rainy afternoon in Ubud:

Taksu Spa — 10 min walk, free slot at 4:30. ~$28. Wayan's first pick today
Seniman Coffee — covered terrace, quiet on rainy days. New brew bar just opened
Kulkul gallery — batik exhibit ending Friday. "Best one this year" — Wayan
Skip the Monkey Forest — slick paths, packed even in rain.

Common questions

Things you're probably wondering.

When are you launching?
Bali, March 2026. Waitlist signups get first access and early-bird pricing. We'll expand to other Southeast Asian destinations through 2026.
How is this different from Layla, Mindtrip, or TripAdvisor?
Those tools work from scraped public data — the same TripAdvisor reviews everyone else has. Our Local Knowledge Layer is proprietary data contributed by Balinese locals who update it every day. We also close the booking loop in one flow, which most AI travel tools don't.
What if I just want to plan, not book through you?
The free tier is yours to use however you want. The $29 Trip Companion gives you the verified local data and in-trip support — most users find that worth more than what they'd save going elsewhere.
Is the AI going to hallucinate things?
For anything Bali-specific, our AI is grounded in our Local Knowledge Layer — actual data, not invented. When it doesn't have confirmed local data, it tells you and offers to escalate to a real local. We'd rather say "I don't know" than make something up.
Who's building this?
Two co-founders. Chris on product and engineering. Reta on local insights, partnerships, and operations — with the kind of patience for planning complex things that comes from years of working with people who depend on those plans to go right.

Be on the layer
